GLBForge ("we", "us") provides open-source, local-first tools for
preparing 3D assets for the web (the MIT-licensed software at
github.com/glbforge/glbforge), a free
in-browser studio at glbforge.dev/studio, and an optional hosted generation service that
creates 3D models from images using third-party AI models, paid for with prepaid credits.
2. Accounts
Sign-in uses GitHub or Google. You are responsible for activity on your account.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to collect free credits is prohibited
and may result in account termination and forfeiture of credits.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or violate these terms.
3. Credits & payments
Generation is paid with prepaid credits. The credit cost of each option is displayed
before you run it. Prices and credit costs may change; credits you already hold keep working.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store
your card details.
Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and expire only if your account is
terminated for abuse.
4. Refunds
Failed generations refund themselves automatically — if a generation
errors after charging credits, the exact amount is returned to your balance immediately.
Unused credits: within 14 days of purchase, contact us and we will refund
the unused portion of that purchase to your original payment method.
Consumed credits (successful generations) are not refundable — the
third-party compute they paid for has been spent.
5. Your content
Everything processed by the in-browser studio (analysis, optimization, forging, STL
export) stays on your device — we never receive those files.
Images you submit for hosted generation are sent to the AI provider you select
(Meshy, or open models hosted on fal.ai) to produce your model, then the result is
delivered to you. You must have the rights to any image you submit.
As between you and us, you own your inputs and the generated outputs. Outputs from
third-party models are additionally subject to those providers' terms.
Do not submit content that is illegal, infringing, or intended to harass or harm.
6. Service quality & availability
Generative AI output varies and is not guaranteed to be fit for any particular purpose —
preview before you spend, and remember the deterministic tools (analyze, optimize, forge) are
free precisely so you can verify. Hosted generation may be paused when upstream capacity is
unavailable. The open-source software is provided "as is" under the MIT license.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is
limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for
indirect or consequential damages.
